A American Container’s CEO makes history at the largest NPSA Conference yet.
This year, the National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) Conference brought the container industry together in Las Vegas — and it was a record-breaking event. With over 1,200 members in attendance, it marked the largest gathering in NPSA history. At the center of it all was Angie Payne, CEO of A American Container, who proudly served as this year’s Chairwoman.
Angie is a true trailblazer. As one of the first woman-owned container company owners, she has broken barriers in a historically male-dominated industry. She is also a founding member of WNPSA (Women of the National Portable Storage Association), a committee dedicated to uplifting and empowering women across the industry.
NPSA Conference 2025
The NPSA was founded in 2002. Over the years, it has grown into a leading nonprofit organization that unites professionals across the portable storage sector. The annual conference features tradeshows, cutting-edge innovations, educational sessions, award-winning speakers, and social networking opportunities.
This year’s event featured a powerhouse lineup of speakers — including keynote speaker Daymond John, entrepreneur and star of Shark Tank. Daymond shared powerful insights into his journey and the keys to his success. Other sessions tackled topics like the current economy, cybersecurity, legal updates affecting the container business, and motivational talks that left everyone inspired.
The A American Container Legacy
Angie and her late husband, Dale Payne, joined NPSA in 2004 — just as A American Container was getting off the ground. Through years of dedication, they became a respected force within the organization. In 2009, Dale served as Chairman of NPSA, and now in 2025, Angie has stepped into that same role — making them the first married couple in NPSA history to both serve as Chair.
One of Angie’s most meaningful contributions to NPSA is helping found WNPSA, a group designed to create space for women in the container industry to connect, support, and inspire one another. What started just three years ago is now a thriving and growing part of the organization.
We are incredibly proud to celebrate Angie’s achievements — not only as CEO of A American Container but as a visionary leader helping to shape the future of the portable storage industry.
