Angie Payne Steps Down as Chair of NPSA After Successful Year of Leadership

After a year of remarkable leadership, Angie Payne, CEO of A American Container, is stepping down as Chairwoman of the National Portable Storage Association (NPSA). NPSA is a nonprofit trade association that brings together professionals in the portable storage container industry, offering education, advocacy, and networking opportunities to help drive the industry forward. Angie’s term as Chair has been one of growth, progress, and a continued commitment to elevating both the association and the businesses it supports. As one of the first female owners in a historically male-dominated industry, Angie has continued to break barriers and inspire countless others.

A Year of Achievement and Growth

During her time as Chairwoman, Angie focused on furthering NPSA’s mission of uniting professionals across the portable storage sector. Under her leadership, the organization held its most successful and well-attended conference to date—bringing together more than 1,200 members for networking, learning, and celebration in Las Vegas. The event featured groundbreaking speakers, such as Daymond Johnson, and insightful sessions that highlighted the latest trends in the industry.

Her leadership wasn’t just about numbers, though. Angie made significant strides in advocating for women in the container industry. As a founding member of WNPSA (Women of the National Portable Storage Association), she has worked tirelessly to create a space for women to connect, grow, and thrive within the industry. What began as a small group of passionate professionals has now become a powerful force within the NPSA.

A Legacy of Empowerment and Inspiration

Angie’s legacy at NPSA is one of empowerment, innovation, and inclusivity. She helped shape the organization into what it is today, ensuring it remains an invaluable resource for all those working within the portable storage industry. Her dedication to mentoring others, supporting women in business, and promoting positive change in the industry has been nothing short of inspiring.

As Angie passes the torch to the next generation of NPSA leaders, she leaves behind a legacy of growth, progress, and empowerment. We’re excited for what the future holds for both the NPSA and A American Container, and we know Angie will continue to be a driving force in the industry.

Angie’s contributions to the portable storage industry, especially her role in advancing the position of women in the field, will remain a cornerstone of her time as Chairwoman. We look forward to watching her continue to break new ground in the years to come.
